He is one of the least physical tight ends in the NFL. If you can't see that you don't understand football

If you don't realize his height and size actually hinders his blocking ability then you don't understand football.

I'm not just talking about blocking. It is The way he takes on some hits and the middle of the field as well. We are just going to have to agree to disagree because it is clear we aren't going to convince each other

understandable, but I still think he could put forth more effort. Blocking is all about effort and skill. He might not have the latter, but shite, at least try.

Blocking is all about leverage, hard to have that when you're 6' 7

Like when he drags defenders into the endzone or doesn't leave the game after taking a huge blow to the head

This height shite is ridiculous. The average offensive tackles which are the best blockers on the field are about 6'7". Hell maybe the best blocker I'm the last 20 years was Jonathen Ogden at 6'9"

Like when he plays against a physical defensive back he doesn't get a catch. More like that. Jimmy is the best tight end in the Nfl but he has flaws like every other nfl player

Exactly, thats why all offensive lineman are usually between 5'7" and 6'2"

Yea, that was the issue. I guess PP7 just isn't physical enough

Well it is true. And like I said the best left tackle in the last 20 years possibly was 6'9".

Yeah, he's so soft bro.

On the road, against the most physical defense that year, double covered, less than 2 minutes on the clock, playoff situation, after taking a nasty fall earlier in the game

Just stop, man.

I've already said it is going to be impossible for either side to change the other sides opinions. But I honestly thought it was considered a known thing Jimmy isn't that physical as a tight end.

We all know that Jimmy isn't that great of blocker, But what was showed on ESPN today was pretty embarrassing. They showed some plays last week where Jimmy basically let the defender run right past him and put forth very little effort to block the guy. I don't think its all technique or skill with Jimmy, his effort in his run blocking seems to be lacking. Anyone else pick up on this? Many of us might say "who cares, as long as he is catching TDs," but when our backs are getting tackled in the backfield because of this I think it becomes a problem. Thoughts?

If Graham needs to be a little less physical on some plays to stay on the field and stay in the top 5-10 in Targets, Receptions, Yards, and TDs then I do say "who cares."

In the past 10 seasons guess how many times a TE has played all 16 games, had 1,000+ yards, and had 10+ TDs...

Heres a hint... It has only happened 5 times total and the guy who plays for the Saints has done it twice (and that is only playing in 4 of those 10 seasons).

I saw the segment. It was embarrassing. Being a poor blocker is one thing, but a lack of effort is inexcusable.
