How much of impact will Williams have on the team this year?
Interceptions?
Tackles?

"How much impact will Marcus Williams have on the team?"

This should have been your thread title, both for more responses and to not get anchored. Not a big deal today, but a month from now, your thread would likely disappear into the abyss.

My answer is I think he plays a ton and if we are to be good, he'll have 5+ picks.

The idea of Williams at FS with Vonn Bell in the box makes me very optomistic.

With all the points this offense will put up! If u have an very talented, young, and hungry safety like marcus! The only way to beat us is throw the ball and this kid will shine!! I cant wait!!! 7picks 63tackles if he starts from day one! I bet he has a chip the size of texas on his shoulders being over looked in the draft! This is a top 15 talent that fell to us in the 3rd round

He could add a little muscle to his frame and it would not hurt him. I think he will turn out to be a steal coming out of the 3rd round.

If I'm not mistaken, we took him in the 2nd round

2nd round chief. And he's probably a top 25-30 talent. Definitely hope he turns out to be top 15 though.

I stand corrected . I knew this and still put 3rd. Still a great value.

At the very least, I hope it's as much as Jairus Byrd had last year.

That's quite attainable. Only with a few more interceptions or turnovers forced.

Still shocking he slipped everyone's radar. He checks every damn box and I knew little to nothing about him going into the draft. On paper looks like an absolute steal

Exactly and my mistake on the round that he was selected. But by him not being the first safety selected is crazy! But its their loss, the kid can even play strong safety in this league without a drop off. He takles like a linebacker and plays on the ball like an elite corner. He will thrive in this defense.

Yeah Sharper comes to mind with his play.

Last couple years the Saints draft has been solid.

I have really high hopes, could be the eraser style high safety we have been needing for years .

9 interceptions, a couple td's helps us get to a 11-5 season! ??
