Damn, he had huge year as a rookie. Sad it was marred by one bad play.

What else can he do but work his arse off and move forward? Come on a message board and take a beating? Still doesn’t change what happened.

I gotta give the kid props for getting in front of a mic that quickly.

It’ll probably never happen again because we’ll never be a win against Nick Foles from making it to the Super Bowl

Best not to let it linger, the Saints can make another run next year and he can be a big part of that.

He did what the coaches told him to do which was go at the WR and keep him from going out of bounds. Cannot just blame this loss on Williams

It doesn't matter if it never happens again. It happened this time and nothing he can do will bring back this opportunity. I hate it for the guys on the team who didn't screw up and still had their season truncated. I don't think Brees has another run in him, unfortunately. The Saints did a great job of changing the team to get the run game to cover for him for long stretches of time where he is "off." Every year is different. Williams ended this one when there is absolutely no reason it should be over yet.

look, when everybody is sobered up and come to their senses, everyone realize these games don’t come down to one play

really awful heartbreaking way to lose but don’t be in that spot to lose that way

Well, that's good. But we may never be this close to a Super Bowl for the next ten years, since Brees has maybe 2 or 3 years left. All he had to do was keep his head up and make the tackle, and the game is over.

Considering that situation where the Saints are one tackle away from making the NFCCG will never happen again once Brees retires he's right that he won't let it happen again.
