So just a thought on my part.
Orginal trade reported was pretty much this except add in Malcolm Butler and our second. We had to get rid of Cooks to save on his roster bonus. Butler had yet to sign his tender so can't be traded.
What if this isnt over and we still trade our second for Malcom Butler.
I wanted more for Cooks but if this is all we could get then i'm okay with it. A night of sleep helped.

Would certainly make the trade feel more even. Prefer it not to be a second rounder tho

This was discussed last night already, but I agree. Will def feel better about it if we end up with a butler for a 2 or 3

Pats can get a 3rd round comp pick in a year for Butler plus a year of production. Why would they trade for a 3rd rounder now?
