Watching some of these games today have me extremely envious.

Teams like SF, Philly, KC, and Baltimore have responsible “credit card” GM’s. They can be able to compete for years to come and not have to worry about the cap at all.

frick man. We should have started cleaning this shite up the second Brees left blowing kisses to an empty Covid Superdome in 20’.

Loomis is on a personal gravy train. That’s all he cares about!

From what I've heard he's so deep in the Benson family he's never going to get canned. Best we can hope for is a coaching change.

Can we just sticky a thread that lets everyone know that 1) Loomis will not be fired and 2) Saints will not draft Jayden Daniels. Any thread on those subjects should then be whacked.

Loomis is basically a de facto owner. Gayle never wanted to be a NFL owner. She was forced to be one. Thus, she doesn’t care enough to make changes. She’s content to let the people that want to be involved (in part, Loomis) and stay out of the way

Quit pretending to be a saints fan. You hate the owner. You hate the GM of nearly 20 years. What are you even doing here?

I ask myself this exact thing every time I click on this board or watch a Saints game.

I utterly hate this franchise with a passion. But I still want them to win.

Lol, Saints have one of the best rosters in the league. We can discuss the coaching situation which I think Gayle was heavily involved in, but plenty of blame to go around.

No owner of a franchise should be that close to the FO. I want to be able to walk in and clean house if need be. Considering where we are being what 70+ over for next year plus dead money it's pathetic. I know you can restructure but we are in for hard years.

Those teams also have competent head coaches.

Our roster is capable of competing, our coaching staff is not.

Loomis and Lauscha are in charge of the sale of the estate when Gayle dies. They’re basically the owners. You can stop with this. The closest we’ll get is Mickey “retiring” to let Khai or Ireland be GM while he just stays EVP.

He is 100% responsible for our current shitshow.

Not 80% or 90%.

HE hired Allen and brought in Carr.

HE gave Cam that ridiculous contract.
