Looks like Davenport is a bust

I hate to say it but he has multiple minor injuries every couple weeks it seems which is a bad sign when young. Cost him valuable time in training camp. He has looked impressive against the run I think but we gave up 2 1st round picks for an elite pass rusher off the edge. At this point everyone would agree as far as elite pass rusher we have a bust so far.

Huh? I said he looks good against the run. Just trying to be honest as far as an elite pass rusher he has shown nothing. With his strength I think he needs to be used inside on passing downs.

As an edge pass rusher the guy is a ghost. You don't give up 2 first round picks for someone who plays the run well.

No I saw it, he over powered the center with great strength. That's why I said he should be used inside on passing downs. I am just not seeing a explosive elite edge rusher like Khalil Mack or Von Miller.

How can you evaluate someone’s career after only 3 games? Brees didn’t light the world on fire his first couple years in San Diego and the Chargers used a second round pick on him. What say you on Brees? He a bust?

I am not evaluating his career. I hope Davenport improves greatly as a edge pass rusher and is not a bust. So far as a edge pass rusher looks like a bust. He does show great strength and can overpower interior linemen which is why he should be slid inside to DT on passing downs.
