Saints have first ranked offense.
Lions have average 15th ranked Defense

Saints have 9th best rushing attack, Lions have 3rd to worst.

If saints play well and our secondary holds up in the least, we should kick this teams arse.

Lions do have an edge in Net Punting by .9 yards thanks to Thomas fricking Morestead.

U love u some morestead.... this lions team has guts and there is no stat for that. That's what I'm most afraid of, and they're coming off a bye week and we're riding high after whooping Los Angeles. Hope our boys don't come out flat or Stafford will feast.

No, they are not. They had a long week, but not a bye week.

I am.

one of the last times we played them (not last year) but the year before I think we had the lead almost the whole game.

but then the Lions scored twice in like the last few minutes of the game. horseshite.

if this is a shootout game (I think it will be) then I hope we have the ball last and not them.

I have no idea what is going to happen Sunday, but...the lions 4 losses have been by 1, 3, 7, and 7 points. "Kicking their arse" seems unlikely.

We usually have a shootout and win against the lions. Brees is fixing to wreck ship, again.

Fun fact from Reddit

Detroit has lost 22 games in a row on road week after Thanksgiving.

This is the NFL. Nothing's easy. Everybody is good. Stafford. Winston. Palmer. Ryan.

dang...

even still my gut says this game will be a shootout.

the Lions have had some ugly road loses to the Bears and Texans this year so that's a good sign. The Saints are way better on offense than both of those teams but Houston has a good but not great D so I can see that loss more than the one to the Bears.

I see where some people were sour on our D for giving up 21 points to the Rams but.. the Rams put up 28 on the Lions in Detroit. So that's something to chew on too I think.
