All teams being treated equally by the schedule-makers, the Saints have a 1/6 chance of playing @ Dallas on Thanksgiving Day. (The Cowboys have to host an NFC opponent then due to networks' rotation on that day.) The other possible opponents are the Giants, Redskins, Eagles, 49ers & Cards. My bet is on S.F. (winning seasons the past 3 yrs, possible defending Super Bowl or NFC champ, top 10 media market).
Would Saints' fans like to see the team play @ Dallas on the holiday again after doing that 4 yrs ago? For me, I'd rather not. My household isn't keen on adjusting dinner for a football game. It would even more problematic when to eat since LSU plays that evening too.

I'm never a fan of Thursday games, anytime, myself.

The prep time is just too short for teams to thoroughly develop a game plan as normal. I think it is another factor in the increasing injury rate as well. These spartan monsters need recovery time.

When ESPN used to broadcast A&M vs UT for 10+ yrs on Thanksgiving Day, kickoff was 7 PM CST. When ESPN started showing the Egg Bowl instead, it was w/i the same time slot. I figure LSU @ TAMU will be the same.

Ok so a 7 p.m. LSU kickoff after a 3:00 Saints kickoff... I can deal with that... And to the poster who is so worried about a Thursday gam... TOO bad... These guys get paid a shitload of money... Learn to adjust......

Doubt it's the Saints, why would they not pick the Eagles or Redskins.

What do they have to eat at the end of those games nowadays? I'd love to see Rob Ryan do some damage.

I hate Thursday games too, but everybody's gotta do one, right?

But personally I'd be up for it in this case since I'm always in NOLA on T-Giving.
