Longtime No Hear: Chase Daniel

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports new Eagles coach Doug Pederson believes impending free agent QB Chase Daniel is "more than a backup."
The links between Daniel and the Eagles have been flying since Pederson left Kansas City. A career backup who has split six seasons between the Saints and Chiefs, Daniel has played well both in the preseason and in spot starts under Andy Reid. With Pederson certain to run a similar system in Philadelphia, bringing in Daniel as a cheaper alternative to Sam Bradford makes a lot of sense. It would not be surprising if Daniel opens 2016 as the starter in Philadelphia.
Don't see him fitting back here as of now but it would be quite a full circle story if he did.

Yeah, i had a dream i became an NFL Head Coach and the first urgent thought came to my mind that I had to go out and Sign Chase Daniels to lead my franchise.

I've never seen more love for a below average marginal NFL qb than Chase Daniel, aside from maybe Tebow.

I read a blurb in some article that went as far as to note ex-Saint OL might not look near as good going to other teams just from the incredible quick release of Brees. Another QB could have easily had 40-50 sacks with the poor line play last year.
