Dan Marino threw for 5,084 yards WAY back in 1984. Thats 27 years . Pretty amazing for what he did back then. The rules have changed and the QB's have it easier. BUT for what DREW has done since he came to N.O. is amazing in itself. I hope he does it tonight. BUT a more important thing is a Saints WIN. I don't care if he throws for 212 as long as the Saints take care of bisness.

41 game streak of pass TDs

passing yard record

most 300 yard games in a season

most TDs for a saint in our history in a season

what is it, 27 straight games with 20 or more completions?

71.5 completion percentage, shattering his own NFL record

voted number two most liked player in the NFL

there's plenty to love about the guy

A tip of the hat to Marino for that accomplishment as a 23 yr old 2nd year player.

Gets overlooked by the talking heads. They're all about TD:INT...completion record isnt even in the conversation...it's pretty incredible really, on pace to break his own mark, which was set by breaking a mark set by someone who played a shortened season.

Jimmy Graham is also poised to set a season record for receiving yards by a tight end, he needs to hit about 90 yards.

Not good enough for an MVP, IMO.
