Shanle will deserve some threads when he goes. Similar to Fred Thomas to me.
Whoa whoa whoa... Fred Thomas was actually good until his injury. I'll say they were similar in that they both got old and needed to be replaced and we brought in guys like Alex Molden, JeRod Cherry, Tyrone Drakeford, Martez Wilson, ??? to compete with them.
blues... You keep talking about us taking Montgomery. What about taking Mingo instead? I only bring it up because I think Montgomery will be similar to a Will Smith/Darren Howard, but Mingo has potential to be a Dwight Freeny/John Abraham/Elvis Dumervil type pass rusher. I was against drafting Mingo at first, but if you were to draft him and pair him with Will Smith/Junior Gallette at the position for a few years that could pay off big dividens.
Thoughts?

Ezekial Ansah DE BYU is my upside pick for this years draft. Although it would appear the saints would want to trade down a few to get him.

I've heard his name, but haven't really seen him play. Where is he projected and is he a pass rusher?

18-25 I think.
Raw talent is putting it mildly. Just learned how to put on pads. Makes Jimmy look like a pro coming out of college, but this guy has a motor and non stop drive. 6-5 270 and pure athelte. Does not move and run like a DE. Has a good outside speed rush but needs more moves. Fair against the run. Expect to be a wonder at combine for those who like that.

How was his production?
I'm always cautious of combine overachievers who don't perform up to par in pads. (See Tyson Jackson)
