That's going to leave a mark...but so true.

Yes and he is well worth a 6th, especially given his cap hit is under $3 million.

If we went with Baker last year at 7 and then Fields at 3 this year, we might be starting to see daylight out of the hole Loomis put us in. As for a bonus, Fields would have definitely killed Allen for us. And we could finally get a real coach and be in much better cap shape. Opportunity losts….

Probably the dumbest thing that’s been posted on this site. Well done.

This was more about the Bears misplaying the QB market than Fields’ value. Let’s not get ridiculous

I would have loved to take a chance on fields. He’s an absolute stud athlete and has had some success in the league. He may never pan out but he’s still worth a try. I wish our org was run like the Steelers

Did we not just hire an OC with the last name Kubiak who worked under Kyle Shanahan?

The steelers signed him because Russel wilson sucks and need a backup plan for when he dont pan out and they got it for free. We have Carr we paid alot of money to and hes better than fields and wilson combined and has more upside, it takes more than run fast and throw hard alot of guys can do that

Yes he definitely better then Jake banner or who ever we pick in the 6th round. It a 1 year rental so who cares.
I'd rater roll into the season with Fields then Hanner or Peterman now we would pay more.

Horrible take, please sober up. A bad Russel Wilson is equivalent to a typical Carr year. Carr has no upside. What you see is what you get. Been in the league 10 years and it’s the same shite every year. Wilson has competed for super bowls, future hall of famer, and fields is an elite talent. Both may end up sucking but the upside is definitely in their favor.

I've been a Saints fan far too long to entertain anything resembling optimism.

This statement debatable as hell... he better in the sense he makes more money... if we had Wilson or Fields last year we probably picking around the same spot in the draft

Bad take, Wilson is cooked, has been his last year or so in Seattle. I said Denver would regret that trade, and so they have. Elite talents don’t get traded for a 6th. Carson Wentz was just traded for two 3rds. They got a 6th.

How so? Do you think we could get a draft choice for Haener?

Fields is nobody’s savior. He may do a little better in Pitt, but wouldn’t help the Saints.
