in all seriousness there was a thread with a good number of us going. me and 3 others will be there as well.
we are staying downtown by the casinos, bars, and stadium.
their downtown set up seems very much like nolas. also, canada is about a 15 minute cab ride, so we may venture over ay.

detroit is actually nice. havent spent much time there but if i could make suggestions
Sights:
Car Museums (best in the country)
Detroit Institute of Art (shockingly good, not best in the us but world class nonetheless)
Fox Theatre
Casinos in Canada(Windsor)
Food:
Arab(not greek/lebanese) food
Soul Food(lol serious tho)
Jet's Pizza/Little Caesars
And it will prolly be cold as a witches tit

It wont be that cold honestly you wont needa buy new clothes. But decidedly colder than Louisiana.
They have indian casinos around Detroit, but the ones in Canada are big corporate institutions that are supposed to be top flite

The casinos in Detroit are better than in Windsor.
If you decide to go to Windsor remember you need your passport to get into Canada now.
