Absolutely no excuse for not throwing it to your 6’7” TE at least once on the final series. He’s a mismatch vs. anyone covering him

Through 7 games, he’s been targeted twice.

Don't forget his arrest in August. You can put that in the fun fact section of his football card for this year.

1 catch, 8 yards and a freaking TOUCHDOWN which have been extremely hard to come by. But no let’s run another fade to Olave I’m sure it has to work at some point right?

He obviously should not be on the team. No disrespect to jimmy. He’s old . It was a nostalgia signing that hasn’t paid off

Someone should put DA or Carmichael on the spot on this.Foster Moreau is the blocking TE

Although it is pretty cool to see Taysom being used more as a receiver

They have somewhat. Just not at what he’s good at (catching), but what he’s always been suspect at (blocking). Pete apparently wanted him for his blocking.

We throwing fades to five foot receivers, Taysom hill, seems like anyone other than Graham. I woukd think a guy at 6’7 would have at least a 50/50 shot of catching a td.

Word is he threw a fit in the locker room after the game and told the team he quit and walked out.

And his complete lack of use is after our presumed #1 receiving TE has missed most of the season. If Juwan was healthy would Jimmy have even been active for games? What was the point of keeping him?

How you can say it has not paid off, when he has not been given the chance to even see if could still cut it?
What about his play in preseason and regular season suggests he should not be on this team and could not have better production than the TEs we are using more? Be specific, and also remember that we are a team that struggles to score TDs in the red zone.

Also keep in mind the production of what we are currently fielding at TE through 7 games. The other 3 TEs combined 32rec/268yrd/1TD
Hill=19 targets, 15 catches, 115 yards, 0 TDs
Moreau=11 targets, 10 catches, 92 yards, 1 TD
Johnson=12 targets, 7 catches, 61 yards, 0 TDs
Graham=2 targets, 1 catch, 8 yards, 1 TD

Those numbers are more of an indictment on Carmichael's playcalling than anything. Juwan being hurt has affected some of this, & I would expect him to have more catches & yards but honestly through the first 3 games that he played he was not factored in much either so I don't know how much it would actually change. And as for TDs, Hill & Moreau are not big red zone threats. Jimmie even at this point in his career can still utilize his 6'6" frame and jump and box out defenders, he showed that in preseason, so there is absolutely nooooo reason to not even attempt a would be Juwan route for Jimmie. Carmichael's scheme sucks arse

He should've never made the roster in the first place

He hasn't been good for a few years now. There's a reason he's not being used, but I can't figure out why he's even on the team. This coaching staff has no clue what they are doing.

We can't even figure out how to go big in the red zone.
All we do is throw it out of reach and out of the back of the end zone.
Got to be the worst offense inside the 20 in the league.
