Jerry Romig gets Super Bowl ring!

On Saturday long time announcer Jerry Romig received a special gift from the Saints organization.
After 44 years of calling Games (replacing the great Buddy D) a marriage of over 50 years 5 kids and a home lost to Katrina Jerry finally gets a ring.

Obviously I'm probably wrong, but I thought all full-time employees got them the next season.
I don't know if he isn't considered full time, or maybe he officially worked for the Superdome and not the team, but I feel like after the players coaches, and Front Office, he would have been one of the first to get one.

I'm friends with his granddaughter. She's awesome and so is her family; just really great people.

Classy move. He's definitely a memorable part of my Saints game experience. I'm glad his son sounds almost exactly the same

I met Mr. Jerry several times at Endymion as he always announced the floats entering the dome. He's a great guy and really just a delight to talk to. I asked him aside from the super bowl and nfccg what his fondest memory was working for the saints. He said without a doubt, going to the game in London.
