The Saints picked up Jared Dangerfield/WR undrafted out of Western Kentucky. His numbers were real good (NOT GREAT) the 2 years he was there (2014: 69 REC, 825 Yds, 12.0 AVG, and 11 TD's; 2015: 82 REC, 844 Yds, 10.3 AVG, 8 TD's). What are his chances of him joining the final 5 or 6 receivers the Saints will keep on the roster? Dangerfield's 2015 highlights

I think he's one of 3 or 4 guys that has a pretty good shot of being the WR5. Some people are speculating that we only carry 4 WRs but I'm pretty sure we will stick with 5.

Thomas/Cooks/Snead/Coleman ... 5th spot is WIDE open and I'm sure one of these guys like Dangerfield or Harris will get it.

At the very least we could stash him on the PS.

Is he talented enough to challenge Coleman for his spot?

I suppose it's possible but I doubt it. It seems like Coleman has finally sort of come long and understands the playbook. We really have no big receivers who are experienced in the offense now besides Coleman. Colston is gone, Watson gone.. I think Coleman definitely sticks around

I would put Coleman outside the three locks of Snead Cooks and Thomas.
