It was a 90 minute interview so a lot of stuff was said. Nothing groundbreaking really. Jameis wants to be a starter and thinks he has a lot to contribute. Loves being in Nola and feels like the city embraced him for who he is. Speaks highly of Drew Brees. Says DA and him ironed out the touchdown play and no bad blood there.
It’s clear to me Jameis is a smart guy who is very mature and a genuinely solid man. He talks about his faith and family a lot in the interview. I think it’s a safe thing to say was that his FSU shenanigans were just a result of an immature kid being thrust into the spotlight before he was mentally ready to handle it.
