With the Falcons doing well against SF, Carolina, who may have been taking them lightly, will now get serious.
To me some bad signs began with the inexplicable loss to the Rams. Then, in a game that we should have won, Vaccaro suddenly gets hurt. That injury becomes the first link in a chain of events. Our elite kicker suddenly has a rare short punt at a most crucial time. The punt sets up a successful drive and a last minute TD pass by a team that hadn't done anything at all to that point. The drive and winning TD directly involved Vaccaro's mediocre replacement.
Through all this, our potent offense suddenly loses it's punch. I think Hoodoo man better stick some pins in something..
