Fire DA and the rest of the clowns,and somehow accidentally hire the next assistant prodigy who comes in and can tell people what to do. The whole franchise is completely leaderless

We aren’t that bad. If we hire a good coach who is a leader, fix the offensive line and find a pass rusher, we are right there behind Philly and San Fran in the NFC.

Unless we nail the draft with a bunch of 5 round draft picks, we will likely be this mediocre even with a good coach. We are in the worst of cap hells and cannot lighten the load with Carr until after 2024. Numbers aren't in our favor right now.

it's going to take until the 2026 season. we HAVE to restructure at least a half a dozen players next year just to get under the cap because it would cost too much to cut them. we literally can't just cut people and get under the cap, we'll actually make it worse. carr will be here for at least two more years.

This is the trap a lot of teams think about themselves. It's just not true.
The team has a lot of older players who cannot stay healthy, it needs a new QB, it needs a fixed OL, it needs a pass rush, and it needs to replace some aging guys in the defensive backfield.
Then maybe they can be elite. Oh, and a competent coaching staff. That's all.
I forgot about the cap situation, too.

FO is completely dysfunctional and structured the wrong way.
There needs to be ONE General Manager who is in charge of all player-personnel talent evaluation and acquisition. Ireland does not hold such an office. He is in the FO but he is not in charge of all player-personnel decisions.
