It's awful that Hokie's slow painful death has been overshadowed...

by a couple of assholes that couldn't control their fricking tempers. Smith gets a damn memorial at the Saints facility, a second line, constant news coverage, etc. Hokie was 100x the person Smith could ever dream of being and was a Louisianian to the core. I get the circumstances and all but it still sucks.

Nah, I fully understand why it's that way. Just sucks that it all happened in the same damn week. Sorry for the dear diary thread. I blame Parish Brewing for brewing some damn fine beers.
