You get Kamara back, the offense was the major focus this week, and we put up the worst offensive game of the season.

How does it get worse?

The thing is the o-line didn't play that terrible. We only ran the ball 19 times.

I'd really like to know what the routes were when Carr has 3-4 seconds to throw it. The BUCS ain't that good. How is no one getting open? It's happened too many times to make sense. How are we not getting open with these receivers?

Receivers were open all game

Carr can’t read the field

He checks down the the easy pass

Kamara ,Thomas and Olave deserve better

It’s painful to watch our offense struggle to score points. It’s been this way for a while, even going back to the very end with Brees.

This leads me to believe the offensive scheme as a whole needs to be replaced. Sure, Ronald Curry might be able to find a better flow when it comes to playcalling but things won’t change that dramatically. Receivers are running deep vertical routes over and over and just flat out not getting open. The QB changes, the personnel changes, but the results are the same… watching Carr/Winston/Dalton hold onto the ball forever until they’re sacked and we kick FGs.

The truth is, Carmichael knew he wasn’t shite without Payton. That’s why they had to twist his arm into being OC. He does the same dumb shite as Payton such as driving the ball down the field, enter redzone, put in Taysom at QB and run for a 2 yard loss killing the drive and ending in a FG. Also, if it’s 3rd and 5 or less you can guarantee a hail mary pass downfield.

Problem is, you don’t have one of the best QBs ever to adjust in game and cover holes in this scheme. These coaches have no idea how to adjust for that. It is over for this entire offensive coaching staff.

The o-line was really bad. Every 5 step drop pass play the pocket totally collapsed or someone completely whiffed on a block. Carr was under pressure on just about every pass that wasnt a designed quick release play.

O line was the reason we lost, again. They got pressure on Carr bringing 4 pass rushers most of the time.

We felt we would have an upgrade at QB, but it’s the exact opposite. Andy is better.

I was at the game. Carr was comically bad. Looks like he decides who to throw to before the play, doesn’t matter if another guy comes wide open.

I agree with Myers or Olsen when it was pointed out that Olave was
running lazy routes on a couple of occasions, because he hadn’t been targeted enough.
