Foskey has elite size and speed. His first move and hands are next level. His ability to one arm a Ot through a bull rush while still having power and one arm free could be deadly. He doesn’t have Nolan speed but a 4.6 40yrd dash is blazing for 6’5” 260lb man. For comparison Nolan is 6’3” 235lbs

I saw alot of will smith in his highlights. Deceiving speed, mostly nature of just finding himself in the right spot, no wasted steps, very good with hands to a degree to where he could hold the edge contain while still moving forward in pocket, not just blowing around the corner.

Anyway, that was my first thought with my uneducated scouting as well.

Will Smith was terrible at diagnosing misdirection and would always bite on the inside handoff, leaving the outside vulnerable. Used to bug the shite outta me.

I noticed his reaction when he was drafted. You could see he thought he should go higher and that's good.
He was thinking about that golf shoe in Caddyshack lol

He said he wanted to be drafted by the Saints all along so it works out

Has anyone that has been draft by a team ever say they wanted to be drafted by a different team?
Only ones that come to mind are Eli, Elway & Bo...although, it did work out for each of them

Are you calling him a liar? Did you listen to the interview to assess how genuine he was being?

Probably not

and did you have a feeling that this might be on the way this would be the team that you would hear your name?

yeah so I met with them during the pro day, doing a lot of film work with them, met him in the uh at the combine talked to another buddies did a whole bunch of
Zoom meetings with them so this is a team I talked to so much fell in love with them loved the coaches started talking to them a lot it's just the vibe of the whole team is New Orleans man I
just oh this is like the team I wanted
to go to I kept telling everybody I want
to go to this team this is the team I
want to go to

what was it what was it that stood out to you that made you
identify the same to the team you wanted
to go to but just I wanted to be
underneath uh Not underneath but like
working with a vet like Camden Jordan
that's the guy that I feel like that's
the that's the Hall of Famer type of guy
and I can learn from him to be a sponge
and soak it all in but like compete at
the same level we try to go on the other
side of him or get him so that was like
the biggest thing I wanted to do be
underneath be with the vet and New
Orleans was a great thing

Arguing about deadlifts this morning with kids has me fired up just saying, he's a legit guy.

transcript is from this youtube video Foskey interview

It’s rare, but there have been more. Eli Manning, for instance.

hopefully there is way more good news than bad after training camp, for now there is too far to go to get too excited about anyone until they come out of camp healthy and being productive.

I am more excited about this guy than most are. I think he could be a steal of the draft, just like Bresee. The guy was a captain at ND so it shows he has the right stuff, plus has stats that pop, but for some reason, he wasn't highly sought after.

He may be too good to keep off the field, even if our current guys can stay healthy. I really think he is the Cam Jordan replacement in a year or two when the Cam finally decides to hang it up.

It's a good and solid pick because this kid plays the game hard, you can see it in his highlights. He is always hustling towards the QB or the ball, he just needs experience at the pro level. Once he learns some pass rush moves from old pros like Cam, he'll be an incredible young DE. Really good size for a DE at almost 6'6 and 260. I'm not worried about his kid at all, I'm more worried about Payton Turner who they traded up to draft, will he be a bust or what.

Fify.

This guy already has the tools in the toolbox he just needs to acclimate to the NFL and he should become the next QB killer.

I was really expecting his name to be called when KC made the last pick in the 1st round.

I know several experts said it was a reach but I remember actually watch him play a few times this past season. He was disruptive and making plays. I like the pick.

Sometimes the experts are so expert.

As least I'm hoping so in this case.

No question this kid is legit. Off of the line, his speed is ridiculous. His effort looks like his biggest plus. He plays 110 mph every play.

Whether it's going after the QB, making a tackle or swatting the ball away, he's going full-speed.

Excited to see this kid play for us. We've been lacking another piece opposite Cam. Love the fact that he's from ND too. I'm a huge fan.
