Are you kidding? This is the first time in years that I don't hate the Saints draft. There are no obviously bad picks IMO, along the lines of Payton Turner, Marus Davenport, and Isaiah Foskey. Or later round horrible picks like Rick Leonard, Jordan Jackson, Ian Book or Tommy Stevens.

Starting OL year 1 round 1
Probable starting CB year 2 round 2
Project/Developmental QB round 5
Competition for WR3 Probable WR4 round 5
Project/Developmental LB behind Davis, Werner, and Gay round 5
Depth/Rotation/Run stuffing DT round 6
It's not sexy but this isn't a bad draft based on the draft capital we had or value for players based on where they were drafted
If you think it's bad because we have more holes than premium picks that is another thing

no, ricky williams will always be the #1 worst draft ever
we really didnt have much to start with and im happy they somehow avoided giving away 2025 picks to trade up
so by that measure alone, they didnt trade away any future picks, this was an ok draft for what was available to us

Much better than last year. I only liked the Breese pick. Thought we shoujd have went with Branch in the 2nd and Achane or Hyatt in the third.
The first two picks were good solid picks. Rattler was a good lotto ticket type pick. Only issue I have is we definitely shoukd have picked Wingo at 170 or 175 and I’d really have liked this draft.
And we will have all our draft picks next year for the new coach.

We had way too many roster holes this year to get cute like we’ve done in past drafts
