IMO, it's close but I'd give it to him for his contributions to them winning the SB. Discuss.

Doesn't he have 2 1000 yard seasons?

He is 5th all time in catches
7th in yards
5th in TDs

He should get in

If the beerman is, Moore certainly is IMO.

yes, the standards are exceptionally low

tyrone hughes, michael lewis, dalton hillard, reuben mayes

Moore was better than all these guys

Lance's 2008 season
His SB 2 point conversion
Direct contributions to the GOAT Saints Offensive and Golden period
TD Celebrations

As far as Saints go he is no.16 to me.

I think as time passes the SB bias will favor him getting in. I think it is the right call.

He's a lock to make it. If Aaron Brooks got in he is def getting in.

Given that list, it seems as though the saints organization takes in to account personal connections to players (players the city loved, players who had good stories, etc) and not only stats which is fine IMO

Let lance dance into the Saint HOF - I'd vote for him

He needs to sign a one day contract then retire a Saint!

I'm sure he will

OT: are one day contracts worth any $ to the player? Or is it just a formality thing?

Lance Moore should definitely make the Saints HOF. A key member of our Super Bowl era insane offense that set the league on fire for years. He came to the Saints as an undrafted free agent from Toledo and hustled his way from a special teamer into a starting gig in an explosive offense. He was so clutch in so many key situations. I'll never forget the 2pt conversion.

This

I do believe they should have held on to him. He had a great chemistry with Drew. That might have elevated him to Saints HOF material.
