I'm Ready for a Career year from Mark Ingram

Last year, he averaged 4.6 ypc, only 3 backs did better than that that had more yards. He ended up with 12 games in the book and destiny has got to give him a healthy year sooner or later. Hightower and Spiller are decent backups to relieve when needed but Ingram should get a significant load so long as he remains healthy.
With Armstead, Unger, Peat, Strief and Probably Lelito, we should have a good enough stable to get Mark going early and often. Our passing game is more vertical this year than what its been in quite some time. The weapons of Fleener and Mike Thomas with improved Cooks/Snead will only help our run game production.
I'm excited and am predicting a top 5 production year from Mark Ingram. 1,300 yards should be a minimum goal.
ETA: We have to go back to 2003, 13 years, before Saints even had a top 10 Rushing back in the league. Deuce was 4th that season. Deuce had 351 carries 1,641 yards 4.7 ypc 8 td's. Mark is more than capable of producing same numbers.

He has steadily improved each year it feels like. Was it you that used to really hate him? Or was that someone else?

called it like i seen it. ingram was given the job early, didn't earn it for quite a bit. he has improved drastically and I feel like he's matured as a person as well. he deserves success, i appreciate he resigned here for a fairly modest deal even though it hasn't been the smoothest ride here. I do think he's a hard worker and his best years have to be now.

Mostly all of us
His first year and a half he would just run up the arse of our O-lineman and fall down.
He has since learned how to run in the pro's and he's primed and due for a long productive season.

Judy says, "Ride him hard all season long. If he breaks, next".
