Illegal Touching Penalty

The consequences for illegal touching needs to be addressed this offseason. It makes zero sense that it's not a loss of down.

Exactly. If it is illegal touching, how do you give them the yards on the catch? If he went out of bounds before he caught it, he was out of bounds.

Yes! I dont know how that doesn't get treated like an incomplete pass. Makes no sense.

I took away that the league has finally over loaded the refs with so much sh!t to look for that they miss more calls than they should. The hand grabbing has gotten out of control.

Unsportsmanlike conduct penalty having the same weight as a vicious personal foul is the opposite of logic.

I was 99% sure before that play that the result was a 'loss of down' anyhow, basically making it an incomplete pass.....
