With Cooks heading out we may need another playmaker at offense. Personally I think speedier back that can make plays in the passing game is the way to go (Cook). I could see Fournette taking a very Trent Richardson like path. He's not that fast for an nfl back and honestly lacks vision (anyone without purple and gold shades would agree). He basically ran the same 40 time as Ingram and Ingram was the more polished linebacker out of college (Heisman winner and wouldn't miss a bowl game if his life depended on it). I just don't see fournette panning out as a professional running back. You can't just run into the line of scrimmage in the nfl and expect to bust free. I want Dalvin's vision.

We are not taking a fricking running back in the first two rounds.

Best case scenario is that teams in the top 10 fall in love with Cook and LF7.

And QBs too. If Trubisky, Watson, Cook and LF7 all go in the top 10....

If that happens a lot of good players are going to fall to us, maybe even a guy like Allen or Adams.

I can see Allen/Adams/Hooker all falling to the Saints.

If we go insane and pick a RB in the first round it's LF7.

I'm not an LSU fan but I'd be all for Adams.

Or Hooker. Either one. In order for it to happen though both Tennessee and Chicago AND Jacksonville will all have to go offense.

Corey Davis - Titans
Dalvin Cook/Fournette to Jags and hopefully the Bears take Allen or a QB.

That leaves either Hooker or Adams available because the Chargers will take one. I think safety is just as big a need as pass rush and some are overlooking it and realize we really only have Bell back there with Vaccaro more of an up on the LOS safety. Plus, there aren't really any good options in FA unlike CB. Safety and/or Pass Rush at 11.

I think CB and G are added through FA. Hooker or Adams immediately makes the defense better.

I like Cooks, but the rest of your post is

If we take a RB at 11, it damn sure better be Fournette, cause he's the only one worth it there. But he's not a god fit for Payton's system. I'd love to see what McCaffery could do with our offense, but only if we picked up a pick in the late 1st and he was still there. Which is all but impossible.

I have been one of the biggest advocates for not drafting Fournette but if you think this dude isn't going to make it, you're on drugs or you've never seen LF7 play. If you were building the perfect NFL RB, I can promise he'd look a hell of a lot like Fournette. To run a 4.51 at 240 lbs is not even human, it's insane.

I don't want Fournette because the Saints offense has finished outside top 5 once under Brees/Payton and Ingram is a serviceable back. NOW, if the Saints get an extra pick in the first round and we take Fournette, I sure as hell won't be upset.

Can't see us taking either LF7 or Cook at 12.

Gun to head, the ghost of Ditka forces me to take a RB at 11, I think I take McCaffrey. He'd be our rich-man's Sproles and a perfect compliment to Ingram.

LF7 would be awesome, but redundant with a really good RB that we already have.

That basically sums up how stupid your post is. By the way, I think cook ran .02 seconds faster than fournette at the combine(with fournette at 240 lbs)?

Cook ran a 4.50
Lf7 ran a 4.51
They are the same speed. And no Ingram is no more polished coming out. I'm not an Ingram hater and have never hated on him here. But that statement is ridiculous. Now that being said I don't want either.

lol dude only looked speedy because he played ACC trash

Was tired of them trying to tie him to LF7 , they aren't in the same stratosphere and that's that. Guice is better than that dude

McCaffery would be most likely, since SP hasn't had his gadget back since Sproles. Should we trade Cooks, we'll need to fill a hole in the passing game and it could be CMcC if Payton gets cute like he likes to do
