Once again, not rolling with Jameis last year and signing Derek has put us so far behind in this division.

So you’d sign a QB to a 4/yr $180M deal and then draft a QB? That’s just stupid .

Signing 35 year old coming off of a major injury Kirk Cousins isn’t exactly exciting.

And yet I see a lot of saints fans saying we're 3rd in the division now

right it’s my fault you are too lazy to type 1 extra character instead of a misleading title

Cousins is a very good QB. We better hope he doesn't end up in Atlanta.

ETA: I see now he's agreed to terms with Atlanta.

This is a disaster for the Saints.

even if Atlanta had signed Fields, I would have objectively put us 3rd. until we prove otherwise, that is where we should be.

we should be better than the others, but we have to show it on the field - and until we do, expectations need to be tempered.

in fairness, signing cousins this year after the Achilles would have been such a typical FO move.

Sometimes signing QB's with season ending injuries works out

At 45 million per year.

I’ll take Carr.

Never should have signed Jameis to the ridiculous contract we gave him in the first place. Been saying this for years now, should have went super cheap at qb. Dalton could have been had cheaper, Baker was being given away by Cleveland, Bridgewater was cheap, and Minshew was making less than a million.,

Minshew and Baker made the probowl this year. Instead Winston caused more dead money on the cap. Really bad flex, and yet another L….

Cousins definitely not worth 45 million a year. Not at 35.

I just tested it and you’re fricking wrong, dipshit. The title absolutely could have fit the word “or” as well as spaces on either side
