Almost every GM and head coach that has been interviewed has him as their #2 or #1 best pick in the draft. Almost unanimously the ppl who get paid to analyze these things on TV agree. But yeah we'll take your word for it that they are all wrong and you are right.

Lance, Wilson, Mac, Bortles, Winston, Mariota, Wentz, Lynch, Trubisky, Darnold, Rosen...shall I keep going?

Hell, TLaw was a recent generational prospect and looks to be a big flop.

I would have asked the same question and felt the same way going into last season. Of course, I would have said the same thing after Joe Burrow’s first year. I feel the same about the 2 players after their second year, however. Not saying it’s worth what we would have to give up, but Jayden has the same potential as Joe did, and that is franchise altering.

Have to disagree. His release is quick. Throws bullets with tremendous accuracy, and his reads are outstanding.

Plus he can keep plays alive with his feet and force defense to account for his running.

He doesn’t have any holes in his game. Dudes gonna be great.

We could trade literally all of our 2024 and 2025 picks and not get high enough for Daniels. So... I'd be mad, assuming they gave up more than that. I'd be mad anyway, considering we are stuck with Carr financially for at least 3 more seasons

Not gonna happen, and if you think there’s a chance, I’ve got some ocean front property in Iowa to sell you.

I wouldn’t care what they gave up because you’re not shite in this league without an elite QB and he’s going to be one in short order. Everyone talks about his speed and it’s a great part of his game but they don’t give him credit for his quick thinking and getting through his progressions quickly. His arm talent is also elite.

Fire everyone. Because why in the ever loving hell do you extend Carr to then blow draft capital drafting Jayden?

We have two (2) returning starters on the O -line.

There isn't a QB in history that could be successful behind what we currently have in the building to protect them.

If we trade up it better be for a LARGE human being with a great work ethic, great feet, and ++ hands

While true, you also have to be able to protect your investment. Just look at the Bengals and Burrow for reference. And Daniels isn't half the QB that Burrow is(well, maybe he is size wise). The Saints need to fill the holes and ride out their cap issues before trying to sell everything to draft QBs. If they make the moves to be able to get him then the entire FO needs to be fired yesterday because that is DUMB.

This myth will it die

Burrow’s injuries last year had nothing condo with sacks or getting hit. He literally strained is calf in practice without getting hit.
