45 will still have a lot of guys teams will covet, and you can likely move back and get a 3rd (they would likely have to give up one of their 5ths or 6ths to achieve this), while still being in the 2nd as well. There are teams with multiple 3rds that would likely entertain this.

The Saints just have too much need for young talent at multiple spots.

However: They aren't going to do this, so thank you for letting me waste your time.

Agreed. Please make it so.

I would be ok if we trade back and are able to get a third to gamble on Tvondre, assuming he slips

The Saints just have to0 much

There is a guarantee a good player will be on the board. If they have the opportunity to move back and don't this draft will be a missed opportunity.

I hate Mackey loomis.

That's why it is unlikely to happen.

As Mickey always says, if there is a good player on the board that we like, why wouldn't we just take the good player, instead of maybe taking multiple "lesser" players?

It is. My mock draft had is taking Fuaga at 14 so i got that one then i had we traded back 6 spots and picked up pick 84 in the 3rd. We are in a good position to deal with 4 5th round picks as well as future capital if we need to.

This right here. Never saw so many people wanting to get more lesser talented people than just picking the higher graded player.
