I fear (and hope I'm wrong) that this team with its make up as we know it could have missed its chance. With the potential free agents and growing competition in the NfC with young talent .... Detroit, SF, Carolina, and GB .... And at some point a team like Dallas has to produce better with its talent .... We could have missed the window.

This was a year we could have done it. GB is beatable and the AFC teams we can all out score.

Big missed chance and maybe window closes. Will be hard to ever see offense as good as this also.

I understand your concern, but i will only share it if we don't re-sign Nicks and/or Colston

Brees, Colston, our O-Line, Sproles, Graham, and Pierre all have 3-5 more years of Super Bowl calliber football left in them

It's the front office's ability to fix the defense that will decide our fate

31 out of 32 team are not clutch every year. Was New England clutch last year? No, so same old Patriots, etc.

I really wish some of you would quit being saints fans and quit coming here. We lost to a 13-3 away and on the west coast. Its not like the niners suck. How exactly is that embarrassing? Obviously the Seahawks loss is terrible but yesterday we lost a close game to a good team.

Saints need to shore up the Defense, that's true.

They SHOULD have been able to keep the opponent from driving 85 yards in 1:28 for the TD.

We are not getting our money's worth on D.

Dude, we took the lead with 1:30 left and the only reason they won is because of two stupid lob passes and one breakaway in one of those lobs. They got lucky, it'll be okay. Hopefully we can bolster our defense in the draft and we'll be even better next year. Think about it, a superbowl worthy team getting better, it'll all be okay.

Wear your rose colored glasses. I hope you are correct. I've been a Saints fan from day 1. What I see is a team in the S.P. era that has been to the playoffs 4 times. 3 times they loss on the road against a team they should have beaten.

They choke on the road. Fair or not. That's the facts. You can play what if, lob pass, luck, whatever. Losing with 5 turnovers and two give up defensive drives .... Points to cant win on the road and choke.

Some teams have it ... A lot don't. I give them credit for the regular season. Nex years excuses will be injuries or bad calls or whatever

There is cause for concern when you have a 0-5 road playoff record, with two losses in a row to the NFC West on the road.

You could say that the Saints choked yesterday. The turnovers -- they were not all understandable. When your team turns the ball over that many times and has THAT kind of last minute D collapse, you have to consider the word Choke.

I would not use that word right now, but, sports commentators just might do so.

This! It's so hard to win in the playoffs and string a few wins together against good teams

Yeah I guess they think we should have beaten Chicago a few years ago. I'm also still not sure why they think we should have beaten SF. It was 2 13-3 teams and SF had homefield.advantage. I don't think either team.had a clear.advantage before the game yesterday.
