Tim Lelito ($1.67 mil, no compensation if signed to another team)

Let me know if I missed anything of significance, or if there are any errors in numbers/info. I left out some of the smaller deals like the Harris guy from the CFL.

I'd give it a solid B.

-We took care of most needs, which sets us up well for the draft.

-The Laurinaitis signing allows us to move Anthony to SLB, and Kikaha to Jack/rush DE, which should really benefit bother players, along with the entire defense.

-I, along with most people, was down on the Fleener deal due to the money received. My thought was that we would prohibit us from addressing the defense for the rest of the FA period. Now that we signed 2 LBs (3 if you count Stupar), and Fairley, I like the Fleener deal more. If he can come close the Graham's production, then that deal is a huge win.

-I like that we were able to make these moves without having to extend Brees. I wouldn't mind extending Brees this offseason, but I was afraid that we would extend him out of desperation for cap space this offseason, which would lead to a huge cap hit the next 3-4 years. I do still think he gets somewhere around an average of $25 mil for the next 3 years after this regardless, but it's better that we aren't negotiating out of desperation, IMO.

-This offseason would be slam dunk if we could squeeze in a vet OG. Stefan Wisniewski comes to mind as someone who could provide competition, at worst depth, and should come reasonably cheap at this point.

-I was really hoping to see an Armstead extension this offseason, but I'm not too worried about that as I'm sure it will get done sooner or later.

-Biggest needs going into the draft (interchangeable for the most part): OG, DT, DE, WR. Luckily, if all goes well, we should be able to take care of these in the draft.

Based on our cap situation...if we can resign Lelito I really can not give it anything less than an A so far.

We will have to wait till the draft to get a true grade since we still have massive holes at OG, WR, DE, and DT

Considering context (How little money we had to work with), I give this a B+/A-.

They've done a good job getting pretty solid vets and rebuilding depth with very little money to work with, and they have not fricked themselves long term.

A solid draft and this team is on the right track.

Under re-signed, I just got lazy and didn't feel like looking up how to spell his first name. I'll add it up there since you did the work for me.

Yeah if we could sign a vet with a pulse at OG to at least provide competition/depth, this offseason moves into the A- for sure for me, considering context.

I'm liking the mostly understated process. There haven't been any big splashes, and I like that because the big signings the last several years have blown up in our face. We just need to plug some glaring holes with low profile signings and set ourselves up to build through the draft. The exception is that at first I was a little wary of how much Fleener was paid. It turns out that it isn't comparatively to other TE's as much as I thought, but I'm still unsure about it. Also, we haven't gotten a depth guard signing, which is surprising.

With the little money to work with, A-. A+ was probably impossible to reach with almost no $.

I really hope that the Saints are able to work through this offseason without extending Brees. This will turn just a bit of leverage towards the team instead of Brees.

Thanks. Not that I don't trust you, but do you have a link for the $3 mil? I haven't seen it anywhere yet, but I could have easily overlooked it.

Thanks. I'm so used to not checking ESPN for the latest information, that I didn't even think to look there.

Probably a B. Get a guard...that ship may have sailed in free agency, though.
