Saints need to maintain offensive balance consistently.

Drew had a bad game but no reason to be this drastic and desperate with changes to the offense.

and year 1 was nothing to be happy about.
Thanks for your input Coach Kromer!

Thomas is our best rb, imo.

Agreed, but we need to save PT for huge games like Packers, Falcons, 49ers IMO
Winning against those teams doesn't count as any more victories than winning against a bad team. Why not use our best players the most against all teams?

Ingram only got like 4 carries today.
Ingram had 6 carries for 15 yards, a 2.5 yd average. Not good for a back that's not a part of the passing game. I'm not gonna call him a bust yet, but when you get the touches, you have to make the most of it.
Yes, the Saints need to make an effort to run the ball more than 10 times a game.

cringe when he takes carries from Thomas. I don't know why this staff is so insistent on Ingram taking carries. He really does nothing better than Thomas and Thomas adds another layer in the screen game. Thomas has more power than Ingram too, IMO.
Agree, Ingram is not needed. Plenty of backs with same skillset. He should be traded for a proven pass rush DT or LB.

This team should NEVER use a first round pick on a position that goes 4/5 deep with playing time.
what will he average, 12 touches/game?
Meachem was a bust, and i dont think Ingram will see the field enough to justify it on this team.
Right now i think we'd be seeing a little more value if we had selected an every down defensive player.

I wonder how much hate Ingram would receive if he were a highly touted back from LSU instead of Alabama...

i never criticized the kids skills... he's got the tools. My "hate" is more directed to us selecting a player whos better suited being on a run-oriented team.

ROFL at everyone wanting to dog the kid for 1 game in which as a whole, the team underperformed.

The Saints had a total of 10 carries on the game and seemed like every time Ingram was in the back field it was in a multiple tight end set and it was obvious they were handing to Ingram every time.
It is one game. Foster had 13 carries (half of his carries) yesterday that were < 2 yards. But he gets a bulk of carries and eventually breaks one for > 10 yards.
FYI: Ingram arguably had a better first season than Arian Foster did.
