to see the Packers, who the Saints basically laughed at in the dome, do what we somehow couldn't and beat this sorry assed Bears team on their cow pasture field?

The Bears fricked us possibly more than any other team this year. I think they lost to the Panthers, Bucs, and Falcons this year.

they did, the Bears game and the Vikings game were basically the same thing, we dominate this supposedly physical team but lose thanks to turnovers, special teams, and penalties. Hell, we had twice as many rushing yards as the Bears but they had 90+ penalty yards and 180 kickoff return yards. The Saints got NO breaks in big games this year.

I wouldn't say no breaks.

On the fake punt pass, it was CLEARLY a completed pass, down by contact, and a fumble. Yet somehow the refs called it incomplete on the field? I laughed my arse off at that one and counted the Saints' blessings.

They also got away with a IMO blatant PI earlier.

It's more that they can never catch a break in the clutch in the most desperate of situations.

Too bad, too.

saints are a dome team, and aren't used to playing in freezing temperatures. besides, the packers and bears play every year, twice a year.

Bears might beat the Packers the way they beat us, with special teams breaks

I believe by NO breaks they possibly meant NO as in New Orleans kind of breaks.

Which is basically Murphy's Law

disagree, and it definitely wasn't CLEARLY completed

and we couldn't catch a break in the Minn. game, hell the refs wouldn't give us normal calls

Bears fans post signs that say thingslike "finishing what katrina started". Plus they gave us obama-- I hope GB pounds them into their own frozen turf

oh really clearly? the rule book disagrees

collinsworth said after seeing the replay one time it was the correct call. we got a break by him not making the catch, not on the ruling.

Don't question rules if you don't know them

The rule is if you get possesion and 2 feet down, make a "football move" before you are hit then the play is ruled dead and a complete pass when your knee hits the ground regardless of what happens after the instant your knee hits the ground.

If you make the catch but dont have a chance to land 2 feet and make a football move(which is exactly what happened on that play) before you are hit then you must maintain possesion all the way through for a completed pass.

He caught the ball, was not able to land both feet, was hit and then lost the ball upon contact with the ground. This is an incomplete pass, if you disagree, then you must take it up with whoever makes the rules.

There was no way in any situation that could have been a fumble considering he didnt lose the ball untill he was laying on his back.
