And then looked like world beaters

Hopefully now that he runs the whole team, they will follow a similar pattern.

he isnt running the whole team, that is the problem, he doesnt have a damn clue how to run, or coach, an offense

We are 3-0 if we field a basic, average offense. His D is not the problem.

Clearly you have not seen who our qb is. I'll help you, it's not Drew Brees.

Saints are 0-3 if Falcons didn’t Falcon.

Nothing wrong with the defense

We are 2-1 or 3-0 with Dalton starting all 3 games

Obvious issue is obvious

this is true...I am not optimistic that it applies to the entire team though

If so, should have been goin wide arse open in preseason

The defense hasn't been the problem. I think the Pete Carmichael Jr. experiment w/o SP is proving to be a failure. Sean was obviously the offensive guru in that relationship, and not Pete.

I think it was a symbiotic relationship. A lot of players have said Pete was the guy making all the magic.

I will speculate that perhaps Pete Carmichael was the guy who designed the plays and Sean was the guy who put that together as a game plan and made in game decisions on which play to call.

Or a defense really either.

Yup. We all remember how the Packers shredded this defense Week 1 last season.

More seriously, why is our front four doing so poorly pressuring the QB? That's a real concern IMO.

Cam Jordan seems to have lost a step

Davenport is giving us very little from the other side

So you would take Jameis over Brees at any stage? Ok....

His commas are fine. He’s drawing out a statement. The basis of the sentence is “run an offense” but he elaborated to include coach, which would include a comma. “Run, or coach, an offense”. If you’re going to be grammar police, come correct.

Not to defend PC but most of you apparently forgot he ran the offense an entire year when Peyton was exiled. The offense was fine that year. The defense was horrid.

Wanna guess what the major difference is from that year and this one??

They did though. Just like we fumbled inside the 10 vs the bucs, missed 2 fgs, and gifted the panthers a td on yet another RB fumble

He’s in trouble if that’s the yardstick. When the Saints had Payton’s offense, specifically Drew Brees, the defense could take time to gel. That’s no longer the case. The offense with Winston is pathetically bad and will get worse as Winston goes further into the season. Allen doesn’t have a clue how to fix the offense and will just tell Winston to play harder. That means more interceptions, fumbles, busted plays and stupid injuries.

But the defense wasn't a problem the last two weeks. They held up most of the games, outside that one Carolina play. Our offense has just kept them on the field too frequent and kept the other team in games.
