Great article on Grayson from SI one month ago. I remember reading it and thinking it might be a good pick for the Saints.

Can we trade RG4 for a WR now?

What type of WR do you anticipate getting back for a 3rd String QB? No one better than what we have.

He didn't take one snap from under center in the whole video clip. Not sure that it really matters, but many people said it was a pro style offense. So I was just a bit surprised.

wonder if Brees had any advice for the front office on this pick?

I'm sure he did but I know for a fact about an hour before this pick was made Drew was on the Acura stage VIP watching No Doubt with Brittany.

You may wanna look at that video again. He is looking off guys and going through progressions. He is also making pre-snap reads. Look at those quick slants, and bubbles. He knows they will be open. Look at the deep outs, especially when they are stacking routes.

The reason why they took this kid is because of his ability before the snap, and his progressions.

I saw him lock onto his receiver a lot.

A lot of easy 5 yard catch and run stuff too.

he doesn't have good footwork, but he has a bit of a wind up in his throw. not tim Tebow bad, but this isn't a prototypical throwing motion either.

Idk

don't think eh is the next brees. But I mostly i don't think it is time to take a backup.

His presnap reads were obviously good. I think I saw him go to a secondary receiver and look off a safety once in that whole video. He wasn't doing this against the 2011 tiger defense though.
