OK. I should prob. not post and drive...

My prediction:

JG gets paid 5 yrs. Exactly in between WR & TE $.

Others:

Golden Tate
Anthony Spencer
C. Finnegan

I also think we bring back Strief.

1. Jimmy will be made the highest paid TE.

2. ML will attempt to shore up the O-line with a mid priced FA, and if one can't be reeled in....who knows

3. ML will possibly entertain some FA CB's, but will probably ultimately find that the Shields contract blew decent CB's out of our price range.

4. The moves conducted by ML in FA will determine the 1st round selection: either OL WR CB

ML ain't doing shite besides figuring the numbers. And based on our cap hell he doesn't do it that well. Everyone knows CSP is calling the shots.

Anthony Spencer

-Might be affordable on a one year deal. It's all medical on him. NFP take:

Anthony Spencer, DE, Dallas Cowboys: Was placed on injured reserve early last season and underwent microfracture surgery for his left knee. This indicates significant down to bone articular cartilage loss. The procedure involves creating small holes in the bone to induce healing and scar cartilage formation. Even if the cartilage regrows, it is never as strong as the original. Microfracture surgery involves a minimum of six months recovery prior to running/jumping and impact activities.

Microfracture surgery is always a red flag. It indicates the presence of arthritis and that the end is near. Certainly the amount/location of cartilage damage and how well the scar cartilage regrows can delay that end.

Unfortunately for Spencer, I don’t see a big money, long-term deal happening. Being 30-years-old doesn’t help either. The best Spencer might hope for is a one year or non-guaranteed deal. Of course, if his physical looks good, that could change.

Spencer's injury is the reason I think we can afford him. He thrived under Ryan.

I think Tate would replace Moore, and Sproles on kickoffs and punts.

Vet. CB - I see Finnegan being a Rob Ryan type of guy. Man to man type of guy
