Anyone done it? Just signed up. fun or no?

Congrats. You get to "wave" a flag, and then be 20 mins late to your seats.

And I think you have to get in the Dome early too.

Done it. It’s cool the first time because your on the field real early for walk through then you hang out for a while. Then you get to be on the field during the player introductions.
Get to see some behind the scene stuff but nothing super cool.
We had to rush to our seats afterwards because we joined the group that was opposite side of our seats so missed a good portion of the 1st qtr.

How did you get the opportunity to sign up? Open to all season ticket holders ?

Accurate
But I would still recommend doing it once.

Have done it twice and we all had a blast both times. Do it at least once to have that experience. Being on the field in the dark with the players running out in the fireworks is pretty freaking amazing. It's definitely an adrenaline rush, and you get that one moment of feeling the screaming crowd while standing on the field.

It's pretty cool. You show up to the Arena at 10 AM, sign a waiver then walk across to the Dome, where you get your ticket scanned. You walk through the btm of the Stadium out onto the field for a practice run. Hang out under the stadium till its show time. You pick up the flag and carry it out onto the field. Stand on the side and que you to walk it out. Then you have to being it back to where they store it. Then go to your seat.
If anyone wants to do it you just show up to the Arena at 10, they dont check to see whether you on the list or not.

More like 8:15am (for a noon game).
From the email I received:
Please note you will have to arrive at the Caesars Superdome 3 hours and 45 minutes before kickoff on game day for check-in and rehearsal.

Overall its fun and awesome to do once.
Yep, you have to get there really early and can't leave once you are inside. They do have food after the rehearsal, but no alcohol and you have to stay in a designated area under the stands until you line up about 20-30 mins before kickoff.

Best part is telling your friends and family to "watch for you on TV" only to be covered up by Troy and Joe sitting elbow to elbow like the butt buddies they are

I remember doing it in high school for the Vikings game after 9/11. My dads friend was in charge of helping do the flag unfurl so a bunch of the guys I played football with helped also. We watched the game from the sideline and I remember a bunch of us screaming at and taunting Randy Moss while he was warming up on the sideline before the game. He dropped a ball and we all lost it. After that one of their offensive lineman got up and told us to F off lol.

Did it once. Definitely a good experience, but I probably wouldn't do it again either.
You get to be on the field which I had previously never been, then see the saintsations up close warming up, then be on the field when the team comes out to give you just a glimpse of what it's like to be a player with 70k fans screaming. They gave us a jersey too when went.
Down side is you have to get there early, then it puts you a little late getting to your seat if it's not near your section

I've done it 4 times as part of a Veterans Group for Entergy. I love it! It's really cool being on the field. Very close to the players.
Also very patriotic. I would highly recommend it if you get the chance.
