In no particular order:

1. Money (edge Dallas)
2. Management (edge Saints)
3. City (wash?)
4. Legacy (edge Saints)
5. Players (edge Saints)

There are also other immeasurable factors like loyalty, personal relationships, family influence, etc.

You gotta love how this shite was released in mid-season. Another nice distraction for our team going into Sunday night against a team that might be bidding for him.

Sometimes it's the only factor for players and coaches, but this case, I gave SP the benefit of the doubt.

Well if 2-5 is "end of story" for you great. But it's clear SP makes a big difference.

In what way are you defining legacy?

My guess is this situation is the nail in the coffin for this board.

Do his accomplishments seem greater or equal if he leaves New Orleans and wins a Super Bowl in Dallas?

I would think winning another SB or two in New Orleans vs. going to Dallas "with the money" would be viewed as a greater accomplishment.

Just my opinion...

I have faith in Benson. Especially AFTER he acquired the Hornets - which have shown immediate improvement.

We'll see...

Yeah, this scheduled, calculated, manipulative b.s. that has trickled through that goddamn network is tantamount to terrorism.

I don't watch it anymore. I didn't watch it at all last week and it was a good week. Tomorrow, I'll turn down the volume and turn up WWL.

frick Disney, frick espn.

Whether or not he stays is irrelevant. The speculation combined with everything else is going to make this board unbearable. It almost already was.

Oh yeah! The fun has been completely taken out of the season.

The only thing left for the Saints is to win.

One factor to remember is Mickey Loomis. Apparently SP feels so strongly about him and working with him that he insisted he be given his walking papers if Loomis goes. And it appears Benson has NO plans on letting Loomis walk. He even expanded his responsibilities to the Hornets. I can't see SP wanting to leave with Drew, Loomis, and the team he built in NO. The one factor that may trump that is his kids. Of course this is speculation, but hey, so is all of it.
