Almost full at LB. Assuming we re-sign Mauti...we have 6 guys.

No guarantee they're all still around at draft time though.

I don't care what his PFF grade is. When he took over for Kuechly he was good.

I know he was around a stacked defense but still. He's also young

Yup. I remember a lot of comments about how well he filled in.

Ted Ginn Jr. is the speedy deep threat we've been missing.

You're probably right. I like Mauti on special teams, but if he's getting playing time on defense...that's not a good thing imo.

Robertson, Ellerbe, Stupar, Anthony, Klein, & 1 empty spot to fill.

Klein is playing MLB so does that push Robertson out to SLB or the bench? I'd be real ok with Ellerbe/Klein/Robertson with Robertson taking over for Ellerbe once he gets hurt and Stupar moving into Robertson's spot.

Robertson isn't going to be on the bench. Neither is Ellerbe if he's healthy.

I think it just allows them to be flexible and rotate now.

Anthony is getting cut. We play 3 safeties/3 LBs in a 3-4 so I think Stupar is gonna slide into the lineup once Ellerbe inevitably gets hurt.

Klein will be starting for us.

Lot of praise on various sites for this move. Panthers fans like him a lot.

We don't play a 3-4.

More often than not we ran a nickel most of the time last year with 4 DL 2 LBs with 3 safeties on the field

I'd like to see if Nolan can develop him.

Really like this scheme with Kenny in the box as basically a WILL. Will be dependent on it if this is what our LB depth projects as.

I think you're right as of now. I see Klein in the middle with Robertson & Ellerbe as the 2 outside LB's(whenever we go with 3 LB's). Stupar 1st off the bench.

No way Anthony doesn't see the field if we don't flip him. His 3rd season coming up on a cheap deal. Robertson will be 30 next year and Ellerbe isn't good enough to justify the "win now" attitude.
