I like our picks.
Although i would have taken tunsil in the first and maybe in the 3rd and 4th taken pass rushers and hope that one plays like a first round pick.
I love the fact that we have 3 first rount talent picks tho.
I just realy hope that we adress guard tomorrow.

Rankins - Many wanted Jack or Tunsil
Thomas - Many wanted Reed
Bell - didnt hear alot of outcry other than giving up picks to move up to get him.
I admit i didnt care much for the Thomas pick at first, but after i took a look at it and who was available at the time i realized it was a very good value pick. Our D has just been so bad, at the time it was hard to think we passed over any possible help to pick a wr.
If we can land a good Guard prospect today, im happy.

Round 3: thuney, fuller, or miller
I would have gone with tunsil, reed, fuller.

many fail to realize we only lose the equivalent of one pick
we basically gave up a 4th rounder to have 2 second rounders.. so we have still drafted 3 players (very good players) in 3 rounds.. we currently don't have a 4th.
I am not one who hates our picks at all. I am actually fine with them. I originally wanted Lawson in the first, but I actually now prefer Rankins. I started studying Lawson the night before the draft and cooled off ever so slightly.
I will say when Tunsil fell I absolutely wanted him. I am a big believer in BPA and I believe the gap was significant enough to warrant it.. even with the defensive needs.. but I'm over it for now.
Many on here wanted Reed though.
I think Michael was the best all around receiver remaining so I liked that pick.
And I believe Bell was one of the best values. I prefer him over most of the guys who followed him.
Some suggested they would prefer Treadwill/Reed.
I disagree, I would take Rankins/Thomas. I would also have been happy with Rankins/Reed though.. and possibly getting back in to draft either Thomas or Bell.
We got a really good group of players though.

Before taking Thomas we had one WR on the roster who was drafted at all.

We could have drafted Von Miller, Antonio Brown, and JJ Watt and most of these poor bastards would be unsatisfied!

Quick, name all the WRs on the Saints roster that they drafted. This will be extremely quick.
If you didn't think they were going WR early then you weren't paying attention. They've been linked to Thomas for months now.
