with U2's "The Saints are Coming" is pretty cool. I read where ratings for MNF have been down and they're going to step-up the advertising. Well done.

I don't know if there is a link to it but it has that song with Green Day and U2 singing the house of the rising sun remix & it shows a shadow of Brees in the tunnel & then has him in slow motion running out when the song starts up. (which I hadn't heard that song since the 09' season so that might be one reason the commercial stuck out to me)

They're doing everything in their power to get y'all to win. Figures.

Worked for me; I was in lower bowl for that game and besides watching game I'll watch 3 hours pregame just for any features about 06 game-by far best atmosphere ever. No debate.

Atlanta teams always get the sacrificial lamb games. Braves vs. Mets after 9/11. Falcons vs. Saints after Katrina. Now this game. FFS guys, we suck enough as it is.

You don't see how they're propping the N.O. Saints up on the "good guy" card? Last year did you watch the game? 99% of the promos and talk before and during the game was how it was the 10th anniversary of Katrina. Then we got to watch the blocked punt against ATL probably 7 times during the game and how resilient the Saints are and how they were destined to win, blah blah blah vomit.
Fast forward 1 year and it's the SAME NARRATIVE just for another anniversary.
Time to put that shite to bed. Hopefully ATL does on Monday night.

Well they owe us for the witchhunt/railroad job/bullshite Goodell pulled with the bounty crap. But making New Orleans sacrificial lambs for the better of the league has a higher price tag than some extra promotion. The superbowls need to continue coming to NO....and someday Roger needs to get lost.
