Yes it's time Sean Payton is the real decision maker on personnel which has been beyond awful with all the draft and free agent blunders. This has resulted in the poor talent and millions in dead money. Payton ego will not allow him to be told what's the best personnel therefore Ax everybody including Loomis. But we have incompetent ownership so we're in for worse than the Les Miles situation because no one will show them the door Benson still LOVE his 7 year OLD SB 44 Trophy

Replace Sean with who?

A lot of guys need to go, but I see no one that could step in and be an upgrade at head coach

I would have laughed at you before the season, but I agree. Need to just clean house, Sean has shown an absolute unwillingness to make real change, especially with his cronies.

You don't think there's anyone who could improve on 0-4?

He produced top tier offense every year. His issue is keeping his pals around that are worthless. We need a GM worth a frick.

At this point I don't give a shite. I'm tired of seeing his smug little face. Only thing he says nowadays to answer questions is "I gotta watch the tape". WTF???

For the most part, yes. And our GM gives terrible contracts. So many FA busts.

I think its a good chance he may be replaced after this game. Another hard headed case with coach not seemingly interested in the other side of the ball. Forget about getting a respectable DC and full stream ahead with the offense carrying the load.

This was the same argument made for Les Miles for years

This is the same shite that got Les Miles fired last month.

A general rule for an employer is that you should never ever hire friends to work for you as that compromises the professional working environment and makes you partial to them over other employees.

And I absolutely agree with you on that. I wish we had a GM that could take some control over situations such as this

IMHO Payton has the capability to learn. He's not stubborn. We've got this guy Ireland that can help Payton with player personnel evaluation. Ireland may be the missing link.

If the Front Office can start making great player personnel acquisition decisions with Ireland and Payton, then Loomis can stay in his role as pure guru of finance.

It will take time to get better. There is a chance that Brees will still be great when that happens.

I doubt that there is a better head football coach out there right now that would be better for the Saints. Payton is not the guru that I thought he was, but, I doubt that firing him would be the correct move.

I disagree. Aaron Glenn and Jeff Ireland can stay.

The rest can go.

We are in desperate need of a Head Coach. Desperate need.

We are a better team than we were last year. With worst luck in the injury department. It's hard to see now. But it's true
