Bad snap and set the tone for the rest of the game. Hand it to Kuhn and get your first and move on. It was an atrocious call to go empty backfield there.

I don't understand the way they throw play-calling duties around like it's a game. We had the number 1 offense in the NFL with Pete Carmichael calling the plays and we hand them over to Sean so he can beat Greg Williams for a personal victory....pathetic

Hindsight so amazing for dumb fricking posts like this one.
We were in a 2 RB, 2 TE, and 1 TE set then shifted to a spread. It's call creating mismatches. Typical strategy by every offensive play caller in the history of football has done to be successful.

Dumbfricking post? There was no mismatch....it was a dumb fricking call. Even Deuce commented after the play it was a mistake to go empty. The play calling sucked all day.

Shotgun & empty backfield on 3rd & 1. It was a pretty bad call & we created no mismatch. No threat of a run & no threat of a qb sneak. It's like our offensive staff took the week off.

Both were horrible. It was the worst game we've played all year easily(we had the injury excuse against Atlanta). It's just one game, but it was a damn ugly one. Most teams have a bad game or 2 a year...I'm hoping that's the case. We've looked like a legit contender in every game this year except for those 2.

Interesting to see a thread on this. When they broke the huddle I was thinking what on earth are they going to call out of this formation??? Turns out we'll never know the answer.
