Emmanuel Sanders says his comfort level with Brees and the offense is about 85 percent b/c of the lack of OTAs., etc. "It's not an easy offense," he said.

Gotta love how honest Emmanuel Sanders is about the Saints' offense and not trying to pretend he picked up everything immediately. He said with 15 personnel packages he has to actually think about whether he's in or not when something is called. He said it's a learning process.

Drew's dead arm aside, we need to remember how much these teams suffered from such an abbreviated offseason along with no preseason games. Especially those new to a system.

Last week's showing was awful, but it will only get better with reps.

Well it wasn’t pretty. Brees threw for 160, team averaged 2.4 YPC on the ground (Kamara had 1.3 YPC). 5/15 on third down. Had 120 yards in penalties. Bucs out passed and out ran us.

In the Payton/Brees era, are you shitting me? 271 yards of offense, 160 yards passing from Drew, 46 of that on the one pass to Cook. Yeah, I'd say that was pretty dog shite.

With only a couple weeks of camp and no preseason, you’re going to see a ton of sloppy football this first month from everyone. If a team looks to be firing on all cylinders it’s because the other team was really bad

I started following the saints in '86. I'm fully aware of our past offensive woes.

Smh, yall are the type of fans who would rather 500 yards Brees in a loss.

Damn fantasy football dummies!!!

Defense and Special Teams combined for what

2 sacks
1 blocked field goal
1 fumble recovery
2 interceptions
1 touchdown

The offense will get fixed but the key to our season was playing lights out
