First off, I will not gather ANY information from nfl.com or the NFL network on this issue. Its like watching a state run news channel in China, they only report what they want the public to hear about their side. Its not news, it's propaganda.
Second, without reading too much into this, it's seems possible that Brees may be filing suit for PAST wrongs, and in the PAST he was a part of the SD Chargers, and may be filing suit as the former QB of such team.
