The "reach value" means how many slots lower than their grade did we select them. A reach value of +5 for Lattimore, for example, means Lattimore was their 6th ranked player and we chose him at #11.

With the amazing way the first 10 picks falling the way they did, the New Orleans Saints find themselves with a bevy of defensive talent to choose from at #11. With a secondary that has finished next to last vs the pass in 2015 and dead-last a year ago, Marshon Lattimore provides New Orleans with a top talent at CB. Grade: A

New Orleans concludes the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft by making a selection from the offensive side of the ball. Utilizing the pick acquired from their trade of WR Brandin Cooks with the New England Patriots, the Saints add an Offensive Tackle with the Badger of Wisconsin,Ryan Ramczyk. Despite having hip surgery following his final collegiate season, Ramczyk is a Tackle that gives up very little opportunity to pressure his QB. The Saints will need him to quickly step up and begin to fill in for 34-year old Zach Strief, a 2006 draft selection for New Orleans. Grade: A
