Chad Reuter A draft analyst has Saints with 2nd best class only behind Ravens who had in his mind the best UFDA class. He listed DE/DT/Travaris Barnes-DT/Kaleb Eulls-OG/OTDoniel tree Gambrell-OT/OG/Sean Hickey-DE/DT/Bobby Richardson all as very good players. Was at NFL.com site a nice take on top 5 UFDA class of all 32 teams well worth a read.

I know.

For so many reasons too.

or maybe not.

Dude still hasn't signed ANYWHERE!

The way he's been talked about on here, I'll be shocked if he doesn't make the Top 10 for UDFA in future airings on NFL Network.

Top 3 if anything. Dude totally got scammed out of the draft through something he couldn't even control, tragic as it may be.

it looked like he was doing good at the Senior Bowl too. I'm telling you, he showed up in shape and practiced tougher than most of the other South squad guys.

just my opinion.

you had guys like Reese Dismukes strolling around out there looking all entitled and shite.

did he get drafted (Dismukes)? Would be a joke if he did.

the draft is so fricking overrated sometimes though. Never a perfect science to it but I guess Baltimore is the closest thing to it these days.

and they are just another 1 year wonder like the rest of the Super Bowl champions this past decade.

Sure didn't

I remember some on here wanted him in the 3rd round pre unger.

I wouldn't call the seahawks a one year wonder for sure

i was wondering why they were talking about him on the local sports show the other day. I tuned in just as I pulled up to the house.

doesn't surprise me. He looked so carefree at the Senior Bowl practices I saw.

but I mean the way they practice now isn't like what they used to either. I've been going to them my whole life.

my bad.

i mean a lot of times the draft is overblown and few teams seem to stay ahead of the game in that dept. Ravens, Packers, and I guess Seahawks have done a great job the last few years.

bringing in another QB to camp as an additional arm could be a plus. Did the saints consider UL Lafayette QB Terrance Broadway. I dont know if anyone has signed him as a free agent. He could complete for the number #3 QB or maybe move him to WR or the secondary.

OT Doniel Gambrell, Notre Dame College The back story: Gambrell signed with Eastern Michigan in February 2010 as a 6-foot-6, 248-pound tight end out of powerhouse Cleveland Glenville High; among his high school teammates were Ohio State QB Cardale Jones and Michigan DE Frank Clark. But Gambrell left EMU to be with his then-girlfriend (now wife) and their young child. They now have three children, and to help make ends meet, Gambrell held down a job throughout his college days, including during the season. Gambrell would be the first player ever drafted from Notre Dame College, which is a Division II school in the Cleveland suburb of Euclid. And he very well could be drafted: He is a big man (6-foot-6, 315 pounds) with good feet -- and obviously an excellent work ethic.

I haven't heard much about him, but after reading his story I'm really pulling for him. With the lack of O-line depth, he may have a real shot.

From what I read about Doniel Gambrell he has all the tools he is just Very raw.All 5 players listed by the draft Analyst I would been ok if one of the 5 would have been the saints 230th pick. Its like having 5 extra late round draft picks. If the Saints would have had 5 late compensatory picks say picks #247th-#249th-#251st-#253rd-#256th-With these draft picks for example if they had drafted--#247th DT/DE Kaleb Eulls Ms State--#249thDE/DT Bobby Richardson Indiana--#251st DE/DT Tavaris Barnes Clemson--#253rd OT/OG Sean Hickey Syracuse--#256th our MR.last pick of draft OG/OT Doniel "Tree" Gambrell out of Notre Dame college of Ohio Div.II- program. Its like having 14 total draft picks.
