Donte Stallworth just on CNN

Of course like we all know the apologies by Goodell and Brees (which should've never happened anyway) aren't enough.
Stallworth complained that there was only 1 black owner in the league and that needs to change. What does he expect owners to do? Does he want the NFL to force owners to sell? Did he ever stop to think that maybe there just aren't that many rich black people interested in owning an NFL franchise?
Then Stallworth talked about how black players are 75% of NFL players and that it's time they finally used their power. That they are realizing the power they now have. How is that not racist? So you want more black owners but black players being 75% of NFL players is okay? Black people make up 13% of the U.S. population, they aren't even the biggest minority group.
So how about this Stallworth. We'll make sure there are 4 or 5 black NFL owners (13%) in exchange for the fact that only 13% of NFL players can be black. A lot more white college football players going to be getting paid!
Of course we all know that will never happen because discrimination against white people is okay.
The more and more I hear current and former NFL players the more and more I'm done with the NFL.
Do you think a lot of white fans are going to realize the truth? That the majority of the players they are cheering for and financially supporting (through ticket sales, jersey sales, merchandise, food & beverage, etc.) actively hate them? I'll admit, I was naive before all this happened, not now.
Stallworth wants black NFL players to use their power. It's time for white fans to use our power. White fans can't do much but they can hit the NFL and the players where it hurts, the pocket book. Less viewership means less money generated for sponsors by ads. Less money for sponsors generated by ads mean Networks offer less money during the next TV contract. Less TV contract money means a smaller salary cap and less money for the players. The fans still control the NFL and the NFL has forgotten that.
In a way though it'll be nice to have my fall Sundays available for other activities.

Stalworth killed 59 year old Mario Reyes. Reyes was going home after work. He was killed 7 minutes after he clocked out. Stalworth had a .126 blood-alcohol level. Stalworth was charged with 3rd degree murder. Reyes, the family man, for a funeral, Stalworth was sentenced to....30 days in prison. Stay Woke America

League did just fine in the 60’s, 70’s, and early 80’s with more white players and less black players I’m sure the league would survive.
The nfl can’t dictate what race owners are because they can’t tell someone how or when to spend their money.
The league can dictate that more coaches and assistants be black but they still can’t take a privately owned franchise and make the owner hire anyone except the person the owner wants to hire.
If it’s a publicly owned franchise (packers are I think) then yes the league could control what that team does and doesn’t do

According to black people they can’t be racist. Only white people can be racist because they say you need power to be racist. Well if 75% of the NFL is black and they want to use their power to get more black owners then can we call them racist by their own logic? Surely not since it’s really just a one way street to them.m. I’m so fed up with all this bullshite. White people do not apologize for who you are because someone says you should or calls you a racist! Be proud of who you are and don’t take any shite.

Like 20% used their power two years ago and they were scrambling then to put the ketchup back in the bottle they lost so much monry. Would love to see just what 50% would do. We can see who has the real power then.

I love how Stallworth complains about people having privilege when he got off with a slap on the wrist after killing a guy while driving drunk thanks to being a rich and fairly famous athlete. Literally more privilege than 98% of us will experience in a lifetime

It actually works both way if white fans decide not to watch it hurts the league. Also if black players decide not to play it does the samething 70% of the league is black. Yes, You could use replacement players but league would be shite and about good as CFL at best.

No they don't. The NFL isn't pushing anything you are crazy if you think the owners would push that. They are about making money at the end of the day and remain BIG BUSINESS.

All I can say about Donte is if he is driving make sure you're somewhere safe because he has already killed someone by running them over. The fact that someone cares enough about his opinion - knowing he killed someone is crazy to me.
