Don't expect any trades today from the Saints

@LyonsYellin: Sean Payton said last night that #saints valued their 3 picks today too much to trade them. Today is critically important to future success.

I love that were using all of our picks to stockpile talent.

I feel like last night's picks are instant starters. For that, the Saints did well. We can only really judge picks as players over about 2-3 years.

Good. I'd be pissed of we traded two of them to move up. We still have plenty of needs that need addressing

Good.

& this is exactly why we didn't trade/frick around with our picks last night. This team is not one position away from contending, it takes a lot of talent and we need as many picks as possible.

I wish we did too but if we didn't trade back... It is because we didn't get an offer worth taking. Simple as that

Can't believe we couldn't provide a comparable offer to what the Chargers gave the 49ers

Depending on who's available, trading 3&5 to get back to the second may not be an awful idea.

Same here. We clearly learned from last year and are focusing on players who are ready to come in and help this team now.

There is some much depth in rounds 2 and 3, and the saints should come away with some good additions to the team. Love that we aren't panicking and trading up if our guy isn't there.

I sure hope he sticks to it the only trade i wish to see is a trade down. This team lacks top notch depth and i could see which is rare all 9 picks on the 53 roster.

I have no problems with this. Losing a 5 to get a falling guy is ok by me.

I have a gut feeling Grayson will be drafted if still there in the 3rd by the way, so maybe they stay put with 2 picks there

Let's get more defensive front 7 help and a WR. CAN grab a guard later.

I usually hate trading up but if Harold or Strong is still there at 39 - I would love to trade a 5th & move up - seems like we might have to leap frog Cleveland if we want Strong. Thoughts?

Good to hear. Looks like they have some specific targets. Interested to see who.
